Salem Atlas Vargas Born: November 10, 2023 Died: March 1, 2025 ROCK FALLS - Salem Atlas Vargas, age 1, of Rock Falls, died on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at CGH Medical Center. Salem was born November 10, 2023, in Dixon, the son of Jose Vargas and Paige Weaver. Despite arriving prematurely, Salem quickly proved to be a strong, normal baby boy. He grew into a joyful, happy baby. Salem was just beginning to walk. He loved watching Ms. Rachel on Bluey and playing with his older brother. Survivors include his parents, Jose Vargas and Paige Weaver; one brother, Enzo Vargas; maternal grandparents, Angela Adams, and Russell Weaver; paternal grandparents, Jose (Maria) Camacho, and Angelina Hernandez; five uncles, Luis, Daniel, Emanuel, Simon, and Israel Vargas; three aunts, Carrah, Kathleena, and Destiny; two great uncles, Jose and Octavio Camacho; and one great aunt, Erica Camacho.
