Kathryn L. Lenox Born: March 2, 1948 in Davenport, IA Died: March 8, 2025 in Sterling, IL ROCK FALLS – Kathryn L. Lenox, age 77, died Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Rock River Hospice & Home. Kathy was born on March 2, 1948, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Joy and Clara (Hammond) Moore. She married Gary Lenox on February 28, 1980. Kathy often helped at the Shoe Repair Shop. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing the slot machines, and was an avid reader. Survivors include, husband, Gary Lenox of Rock Falls; one daughter, Cindy (Chad) Brackemeyer of Morrison; three sons, David (Kelly) Drawyer, Steve Lenox and Bryan (Michelle) Lenox all of Rock Falls; one sister, Linda (Larry) Williams of Prophetstown; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter in infancy, Michelle Drawyer. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were completed by the McDonald Funeral
