Manuel Garcia Born: January 30, 1927 Died: August 20, 2024 B. Manuel Garcia, 97 of Sterling died Tuesday August 20, 2024 at his home. He was born on January30, 1927 in Sterling the son of Manuel and Beatrice (Pizarro) Garcia. He attended Sterling Schools. Manuel was a veteran of World War II having served in the US Navy. He married Anita Pierson on June 13, 1953 in Sterling. She died May 18, 2000. Manuel was employed at Wahl Clipper Corporation retiring after 38 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church; the Sterling American Legion Post 296; the Sterling Family Moose, the Latin American Club; and several other area organizations. He served as past president of the Sterling Park District board and was honors as a past Don for the Mexican Fiesta Parade. Survivors include his daughters: Rhonda Garcia of Monrovia, CA and Pam Garcia of Boynton Beach, FL; his sons: Randy Garcia, Rick Garcia and Mike (Katie) Garcia all of Sterling; 7 grandchildren; and several great grandchildr
