He was born on October 5, 1939 in Sterling the son of William T. and Catherine (McCain) Asbury. He married Beverly K. Clutterham on October 28, 1961 in Sterling. He had worked at Sterling Alloy Casting for 29 years; then worked as a custodian for Sterling Unit 5 School. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his yard and gardening.
