Ernst, age 104, died Monday August 12, 2024 at Morningside of Sterling were she received loving care from the staff and Vitas Hospice. Adeline was born on June 22, 1920 in Livingston, IL the daughter of Theodore and Anna (Jacko) Minkanic. Adeline graduated from Livingston High School in 1939. Adeline spent much of her life working in the health care field giving much of her self to others. Starting at the hospital in Litchfield, IL and then with home healthcare services in Naples, FL and volunteering for hospice until the age of 93. She was also a beautiful artist and miniaturist throughout her later years creating many keepsakes for her family. She married Harry E. Pointer January 9, 1943.
