Ernestina was born on November 6, 1939 in San Benito, TX the daughter of Jose and Amada (Hernandez) Castillo. She was employed as a Business Administrator with Simplex Grinnell for 30 years retiring in 2015. Ernestina was an avid reader and loved to garden. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi in Bolingbrook where she was active with the altar & rosary, Survivors include, one son, Andy (Kira) Baltazar of Downers Grove; four sisters, Marie (Paul) Hess of Sterling, Odila Virgin of Niantic, CT, Mindy Todd and Crystal Fears both of Sterling; four brothers, Arnulfo (Peggy) Castillo, Isidro (Diana) Castillo both of Sterling, Mario Castillo of Belgrade, MT and Joe (Sue) Castillo of East Earl, PA; two grandchildren, Zoe and Zachary Baltazar.
