Lynn Kay Vinson Born: December 6, 1953 in Sterling, IL Died: August 8, 2024 in Rock Falls, IL ROCK FALLS - Lynn Kay Vinson, 70, of Prophetstown, died on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Rock River Hospice Home in Sterling. Lynn was born December 6, 1953, in Sterling, the daughter of Alfred and Janet (Barkdoll) Waters. Lynn had a special gift for supporting the developmentally disabled and worked at the Hammett House in Sterling for over 20 years. She enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting, and cooking. Lynn was also a die-hard Cubs fan, and a proud LGTBQ advocate. Survivors include her husband, William Vinson, of Prophetstown; one daughter, Andrea Olalde (Kevin Phillips), of Rock Falls; two sons, John Olalde, of Dixon, and Mario Olalde (Miles Puga), of Chicago; two sisters, LeAnne Wade, of Sterling, and Lisa (David) Turner, of Rock Falls; nine grandchildren, Ericha, Dillon, Jordyn, Bethany, Sairra, McKinzie, Claire, Emerson, and Alice; and two great grandchildren, Zoey, and Willow; several
