Elizabeth Ann McCue Born: September 27, 1920 Died: August 7, 2024 Elizabeth "Betty" Ann McCue, 103, of Sterling died Wednesday, August 7, 2024 She passed away at Rock River Hospice & Home after a brief illness. Betty was born in Sterling on September 27, 1920, the daughter of Laurence L. and Helen M. (Foulds) Kelly. She attended St. Mary's Grade School and Community Catholic High School. She married Frank James McCue on June 28, 1941 in Sterling. He died July 23, 2019. Betty was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, and the Sterling Family Moose. She was an avid college basketball fan following Duke and Notre Dame. Above all, Betty took great pride in her family. Survivors include three daughters: Mary (Daryl) Reitz of Silvis, Ann (Richard) Jefferies of MI, and Marcia (Galen) Zerull of Rock Island; her sons: James McCue (Penny Bielema) of Prophetstown, William (Carolyn) McCue, Robert McCue, Joseph (Teresa) McCue all of Sterling and John (Denise
