She was born on March 4, 1930 in Pence Lake, WI the daughter of George J. and Mathilda M. (Rapple) Ziglinski. She married Richard C. Davis on August 21, 1948 in Oconto Falls, WI. He died July 29, 2005. Erma was a devoted wife and mother, supporting her late husband in his teaching career and being a catalyst in the family's nurturing and support. From her sewing of many band uniforms to the details of running a household and loved gardening. Erma was an unwavering behind the scenes worker. Erma worked as a sales representative at Fruhauf Uniforms, INC. Erma had a strong love for dogs especially boxers; Erma also had a strong love for cows and had a collection of cow figurines.
