Bonnie (Nicklaus) Kunde Born: March 16, 1942 Died: June 19, 2024 Bonnie (Nicklaus) Kunde passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024, peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was born on March 16, 1942, in Dixon, the daughter of Frank L. and Elva Virginia (Hardt) Nicklaus. She married Richard Kunde on April 15, 1988, and he brought much happiness into her life until he passed away on April 7, 2004. Her dear friend, Osco "Dean" Beatty came into her life, and they lived a long friendship together. Bonnie worked as a rural letter carrier for the US Postal Service in Rock Falls, retiring in 2002. After retiring, she spent her time watching her blended family grow. Bonnie was a member of New Life Lutheran Church and was active in singing in the choir; the bell choir; and taking care of children in the nursery.
