Josefina was born on December 21, 1937 in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of Agapito and Margarita (Sevilla) Barretos. She married Francisco L. Torres on February 26, 1960 in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2017. Josefina was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls. Survivors include two daughters, Josephine (Victor) Montañez of Chicago, IL and Patricia (Gregory) Ohlendorf of Amboy, IL; four sons, José (Loretta) Torres of Orland Park, IL, Francisco (Denise) Torres of Chicago, IL, Salvador (Dawn) Torres of Sterling, IL, and David (Jennifer Cook) Torres of Chicago Heights, IL; eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and brother, David Barretos.
